"Old Magic Won't Work"

Guess who finally hopped on the neon bandwagon???  Yours truly!!!

I know, it's about time...you have the right to rub it in, I'm probably the last blogger on the interwebs to post this trend.  But here I am at long last, decked out in a lovely neon yellow and nice bright blues and corals. I fell in love with this dress on the Target clearance rack a couple weeks ago, because of the stripes that are cleverly sewn in different directions, the cute little buttons, the contrasting black--and primarily, the pockets.  Oh, happy pockets!  It's just such a satisfying feeling to find a dress that you love and then discover the lovely fact that it even has pockets ;)

  2. That dress is so cute! I love the different color stripes. Why can't I find anything as cute on the Target clearance?! I haven't really gotten into the neon trend either, it's just too 80s for me and makes me feel like I'm 5 again.

  44. My dear, you have been posting some gorgeous stuff lately! I was away at camp-the same camp that our friend Ryan Johnson grew up attending! I've known Ryan since we were probably ten years old :) Small world huh?! First I want to comment on your vintage inspiration post- I totally agree with everything you said! If I had it my way I would travel around the country to different vintage shops to perfect my vintage wardrobe. I would also hire hair stylists to teach me how to roll my hair just perfectly ;) haha.
    Secondly, the pants in your previous post are perfection! I have been loving anything and everything with polka dots and those are the most amazing shape.Great find!
    Thirdly, I love the dress in this post too! Pockets are definitely a deal breaker for me-If I'm on the fence about something, but notice that it has pockets, I will most likely buy it just because of that-they're my favorite!
