Jose Eber GIVEAWAY
here!!!
Kindergarten took a trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts...one of my favourite places in the world...I've been teaching ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian history and the Middle Ages the past weeks, so I hoped to give the kiddos a chance to see some of it "in real life". And it was soooooooo fun to see their excitement! All of the sudden it clicks with them that everything we've been learning was daily life a thousand or hundred years ago...and I was so amazed by all that they remember from the past months! They made me so proud, chirping quick little answers to all these history geek questions I kept asking them :)
Decided that a long, cold bus ride meant I should snuggle up in this knit wool shift dress. Which, just between us, is actually just a size large sweater...sized up and presto, it's a dress :) To me, the quintessential winter outfit is a cozy knit sweater shift, doubled up tights, tall boots, and a scarf. There just isn't an easier way to look put together but also be warm!
Warm being a necessity these days in Minnesota...stuck in a couple quick pics of the backyard this week...look at all that snow! And it all came in one night. Good thing we'll have a white Christmas.

Love that you wore this as a dress! The color is beautiful on you, and I love your scarf paired with it :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving this. And had not you said anything about the sweater being a large, I would have never known! Love it. And how in the world did you manage to take outdoor pictures like this in the freezing cold? They were showing on the news that Minneapolis had a high of 3 the other day!
ReplyDeleteAnd kudos to you for teaching the kiddos about ancient times. I'm a nerdy type too and love that stuff, and teaching it probably would be the icing on the cake!
Happy Wednesday!
